This series consists of index cards of Permission to Transfer by name in the Northern Territory. Each alphabetically organised card includes the following information in columns: full name of transferor (surname, first name), holdings, land district and full name of transferee (surname, first name). The holdings that could be transferred included ML (miscellaneous leases), TLL (town land leases), PL (pastoral leases), AL (agricultural lease), occupational licence and GL (grazing licences).
